1st Sunday of Lent
The Peacemaker Who Was Misunderstood
“Blessed are the peacemakers.” — Matthew 5:9
Karl worked tirelessly to end the war, even when it damaged his reputation and brought criticism from every side. He chose what was right over what was successful. To seek peace in our own lives often means accepting misunderstanding, letting go of the need to win, and choosing reconciliation first. This is the quiet heroism of Lent.
Blessed Karl, make us instruments of reconciliation. Amen.
