Servant Leadership

“Whoever wishes to be great must be your servant.” — Mark 10:43

Karl understood authority as service. He listened, he visited the suffering, and he carried the burdens of his people personally. Our own influence, however small, is given for the good of others. Love is the measure of leadership. His example reveals that greatness in God’s kingdom is always expressed in humility.
