Simplicity of Life

“Take nothing for the journey.” — Luke 9:3

Exile stripped away every external sign of imperial life. What remained was a family living quietly, faithfully, and prayerfully. The same simplification is asked of our hearts. When excess falls away, space is made for God. What appeared as loss became clarity. The same transformation is offered to us.

Blessed Karl, teach us evangelical simplicity. Amen.
