Devotion to the Sacred Heart

“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.” — Matthew 11:29

Karl consecrated his life and his reign to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He believed that true authority flows from charity. Lent is a journey into the heart — a time to allow Christ to soften what has become hard within us. To rule our own lives with love rather than fear is to share in Christ’s kingship.
