Joy in Marriage

“Rejoice in the Lord always.” — Philippians 4:4

Those who visited Karl and Zita in exile were surprised to find not discouragement, but joy. Their love had been purified by suffering and had become a source of strength for their children and for all who encountered them. Joy rooted in God does not disappear when circumstances change. It grows deeper, quieter, and more radiant. It becomes a sign that love is stronger than loss. Their marriage reveals the grace given to every vocation of love: that fidelity, lived day by day, becomes a witness to the presence of God.

Blessed Karl, bless and strengthen all who are called to live in faithful love. Amen.
